TCM, CCM, and FCM denote object center of mass location on the thumb, center, and finger side of the grip device, respectively. Dashed horizontal lines in panel A denote the magnitude of the ideal moment that subjects should have generated to neutralize the external moment caused by the added mass for TCM, CCM, and FCM conditions. Data are averages of all subjects. Vertical bars denote standard errors.
