The following variables were recorded during the first test session: Age (years); Torque: dorsiflexion maximum voluntary torque (Nm); Total MS: total muscle strength score (0–20); TA MS (0–5): Tibialis Anterior muscle strength score; WISCI II: Walking Index for Spinal Cord Injury gait score (0–20). MAS: total modified Ashworth score tested during flexion-extension of the knee and ankle joints (0–20); Penn: Penn scale spasm score (0–4)
