In ad, MCS and ESB values were compared among seven groups (with five SIAS levels from stroke patients, healthy elder subjects, and healthy young subjects). a and b show the parameters for the elbow flexion motion, while (c) and (d) show them for the steering motion. A Wilcoxon sum-rank test with a confidence interval of 95% was conducted to compare the healthy young group with the remaining groups and the healthy elder group with stroke patients. A Bonferroni–Holmes correction was applied to the confidence interval to control for the multiple comparisons of the presented analysis. Significance tables on each graph show in blue the pairs of results with significance differences and in red those without significance. Over each graph, the standard deviations measured from the set of data for each group was represented to show the evolution of these parameters according the severity of the injury
