  1. For the fatigue testing the stimulation amplitude was set to elicit contractions with a peak torque of 40% MEC. The table shows the normalized initial peak torque (average of the first 10 contractions) along with its corresponding stimulation amplitude. Data is represented as mean ± SD for each electrode configuration (n = 6). Fatigue measurements using the conventional electrode configuration were conducted as baseline measurements at the first (CONV1) and last (CONV2) session for each subject. Values marked with an asterisk (*) were statistically significant against CONV1 and CONV2.
