The electrode is composed of 16 circular active cathodes (0.95 cm diameter and 1.3 cm distance between centers, called “pads”), and one common anode (19 cm long). A 30-cm long lead was designed to connect the electrode placed in the socket to the stimulator attached outside of the socket in participants with lower-limb amputation
